Wedding spectacular

We attended for a wedding. The food was amazing (especially the gravy!). We had a 3 course meal which was delicious and fantastic quality. Service was excellent too. Probably the nicest food I’ve ever had at a wedding-big shout out to the kitchen! I could have eaten a bucket full of the mushrooms too. Brilliant day.

Very worthy five stars!!!!!

Called in for a few beers and was immediately tempted by the glorious smell of food. After an onset of food envy when we saw the next table being served we ordered the gammon and seafood tagliatelle. Both dishes were outstanding in flavour, presentation and good value. Compliments to the owners and kitchen staff! Highly recommend!! 5 *****

Amazing

Went for a family meal. Between us we had various dishes. My gammon steak and egg with home cooked chips was to die for. My partner had the home made lasagne and said it was the best he'd ever tasted ( even beating mine). The children had sausage and mash. The portion sizes are large and we all went away full.
It was so delicious we have booked in for their famous Sunday lunch.

Worth visiting. Exceptional Service.

Super stay at Manor House. Great food, four different meals all outstanding, the steak coupled with horseradish mash was exceptional. The staff were excellent, attentive and professional. Would stay again, no hesitation. Thank you to the owners, you make the stay memorable with your attention to detail and hard work.

The best gravy ever and a besutiful wedding venue.

I went here for a wedding reception. Absolutely gorgeous venue over looking the derwent valley and reservoir. Great owners and fantastic customer service. The food was out of this world and probably the best food I have had in a long time. The gravy is to die for so will definitely return for a 3 course Sunday dinner. Can't recommend this place enough as a gorgeous pub but also as wedding reception venue.
