Villa Nilaveli - beachfront bliss

We stayed for 8 relaxing nights at the end of a busy month long trip across Sri Lanka. The Villa is a piece of paradise that looks out across a lovely garden towards the sea. The rooms are a great size as are the balconies and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beachfront is kept immaculately clean by the team and the sea (August, east coast) was clear and calm. We pre booked and ate Amal's delicious food some evenings, other nights we walked up the beach or he arranged a Tuk-Tuk to take us to a nearby local restaurant. I do hope Amal and Shameera can keep this place maintained to its current standards, because we'd love to return one day. Thank you for being such kind hosts.

1000% recomended - Warm hospitality and comfortable stay

All reviews I read about this place talked about Amal's great hospitality, beautiful grounds and amazing food. I can echo all these things after staying in a villa for 4 days in August.
Weather, beach and ocean were beautiful. Our men went fishing. They caught a giant fish. Amal prepared an excellent lunch. One day we ordered a barbecue dinner on the beach. It was memorable.
The hammock/beach area was amazing to relax away all day.
The rooms were clean and equipped with everything you need. The house is really big and comfortable. There are 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Just one room has its own bathroom.
Amal, his wife and sons were all very hospitable and I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back. Amal thanks again dor all!

Warm hospitality and comfortable stay

All reviews I read about this place talked about Amal's warm hospitality, beautiful grounds and amazing food. I can echo all these things after staying over a weekend. We were diving nearby so Amal was able to get us breakfast for our early mornings. The hammock/beach are was amazing to relax away the afternoon. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything you need including a mini fridge and plenty of storage. Because there are only three rooms and one villa, the area felt extremely private. We had a BBQ seafood dinner cooked for us by Amal and it was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. Amal, his wife, and son were all very hospitable and I would highly recommend this place as somewhere to relax all day or a restful place to come back to after a long day of diving.

Perfect to relax by the sea

Villa Nilaveli cabanas is a perfect location to chill and relax by the beach (beautiful location, clean, silent and not crowded at all). And thank you Amal for your kindness and very good dinners! I suggest to rent a scooter to visit surroundings, Amal was as kind to help us and let us find a scooter at our cabana when we got there.

Amazing place!

The place is a little corner of paradise, with just a few people around. Room are simple and beach is nice! Amal, the owner, is always kind and super helpful. He also organized for us an amazing trip to Pigeon Island for a fair price.
Very nice experience!
