A gem of accommodation in the center of Catalonia.
Super comfortable beds, spectacular breakfast. Exquisite cleaning. A few meters away are bars and restaurants. Easy to park on the street.
I will come more often.
From here you can visit all of Catalonia. It is in the geographical center of Catalonia.
Close to everything far from everything depending on how you look at it.

difficult to review
The breakfast was excellent - UK style cooked in addition to plentiful fruit, juices,cheeses, bread and cookies etc.Two guest rooms overlooking the river have been been prepared to a high standard and would represent very good value.
The self contained flat which we were offered however was grossly overpriced, and not fit for purpose.The bedroom had no outside window and was unheated - the heater didn't work. There was another heater in the front room but it was very noisy.There was nowhere to hang clothes in the bedroom. The bed itself however appeared new and the linen was fine.
There was no bathroom, just a toilet with handwash basin, cold water and a garden style tap.
The shower was opposite but had nowhere to sit and change. There was a broken glasswindow over it. There seemed nowhere to hang towels to dry so they were cold and damp when we rerturned for the second night.The bed had not been made up.The whole area could have done with a good clean.
The advertised balcony was "conceptual" - there was no river view.
It transpired that this self contained flat had been used by the son of the family untill recently and there was plentiful evidence of this - the writing was on the walls literally.In my view it was not ready or fit for listing.
I discussed these matters with the hosts who said they would remove it from listings until the spring.We were nevertheless charged the full rate.

Sur la route du retour, je suis descendu à l’hotel 4 étoiles à la sortie de la ville et j’ai donc pu comparer les deux options. L’hôtel coûte moins de 100 euros, dispose d’un parking, d’un bon restaurant et d’une réception.
A prix égal, je choisirais probablement le b&b plutôt que l’hôtel juste par solidarité, malgré ses inconvénients. Mais là, il est 30% plus cher et ce n’est vraiment pas justifié.
