New Year's Eve
Hotel in good location.
We spent New Year's Eve 2024-2015. Dinner if we can call it a start at 7:00 p.m.
Food of poor quality. Undrinkable wine. All drinks excluded [remember that we have not.paid 2 lire... as they say]. The Band played almost exclusively Slovenian ballads and at a certain time... after 00:30 it disappeared... Unqualified organization. A hostess/waitress even chased me saying that I had to pay for the drinks... actually they had already been assigned to the room..
The swimming pools are not up to scratch and we are not talking about thermal water but heated...

Hotel Vita Dobrna? No thanks.
I state that I have stayed in several spa hotels in Slovenia and have always had the maximum availability to accommodate my needs. I am disabled and therefore, before leaving, I inform myself by email how I can be offered adequate treatment. I had asked and got by email that my accommodation would be on the sixth floor with proximity to elevator to reach pools and restaurant. At check in, despite showing the contents of the email they sent me, they assigned me a room as far as possible from the required points. The bedroom with double bed is so narrow that to access the bed you need to walk with your face turned to the wall. The shower in the bathroom, however very small, is facing the narrowest part, so with very small space. The view from the window ranges on an old compactor for garbage with constant noise and smell not really pleasant. The restaurant has hospital dinner hours from 6am to 8am, with little choice of non-traditional Slovenian dishes. Waitstaff must be called when usually, but maybe I'm wrong, it should be the other way around. Too bad because the outdoor pool is delicious. Adding that the fee paid is not exactly cheap, I conclude by saying that it is an experience that I would not do again and that I do not recommend doing.
