很私密和个性化的度假,只在红辣椒酒店

Complete relaxation with wonderful staff
We had an extremely relaxing two night stay at the Red Pepper House in February 2024. All the staff led by manager, Joseph, ensured we were very well looked after, from the meeting by boat at the airport jetty to the goodbye wave from the beach. It is a small boutique hotel in a quiet location away from the town and other hotels. The award winning architecture makes for perfect surroundings and comfort. It is very quiet with only 5 rooms each with private outdoor space overlooking the beach. We were awoken each morning by the call to prayer and the braying of donkeys. For one night we were the only guests which gave Joseph time to take us on a boat trip and walking tour of Lamu town, a fascinating couple of hours. Would highly recommend for complete relaxation, beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff. Thank you Joseph, Kassena, Asha, Alfred, Captain and all the team.

The RedPepper House Stay
We just finished our trip and stay at The Red Pepper House and I can honestly say that we left very pleasantly satisfied with everything:
Accommodation, meals, attention and excursions, without forgetting the magnificent sunsets in the afternoons on the boat that they made available to us.
In short, very repeatable stay and we will return.

An unforgettable experience in a dream hotel
The experience has been incredible. An exceptional treatment, a paradise on the island of Lamu. The rooms are amazing, and the entire complex is wonderful. The staff has given us exquisite treatment. 100% recommendable. A very special place with a lot of charm

LAMU'S BEST KEPT SECRET - beautiful hotel and lovely people
We have just left The Red Pepper House and I can honestly say that my family and I felt emotional saying goodbye as our visit was just perfect. Manager Joseph, Faith, Caseanna and all the people who work at The Red Pepper are so hospitable and welcoming that they made our stay truly memorable. The house itself is beautiful and Fredrick the chef is outstanding - his set menu meals were the best that we had on Lamu. The beach in front of the hotel is not the prettiest on Lamu (you need to go to Shela for that) but the vibe is great. One afternoon there was a local football match outside the hotel that was great to watch, otherwise you can just gaze out at the sea and watch the donkeys and cows walk by - there is always something going on. We were there for the Dhow boat race on January 1st which was an absolute must - Joseph took us out on their Dhow and we watched the race from the water. Munawar, our captain also happened to be on the winning Dhow and it was a treat to have him jump back on board with us straight after the race to roars of cheers from the locals as he sailed us back to the hotel. New Year's Eve was very special as Joseph and the boys treated us to moonlight drumming under the stars. The sunset dhow is a must as was Joseph's tour of the old town. We're now spending a couple of days at the Pepponi but I wish we were back at the Red Pepper House.
