Happy birthday!
Three nights stay in Half Pension with the daydreams package on the occasion of my wife's 50th birthday. Really good and strategic location. A 10-minute walk from the historic center of Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. Convenient parking on a narrow street adjacent to the hotel. It is close to many Umbrian and Tuscan villages. Our wide quadruple. Renovated furniture. Bathroom a little older. Not windowed but with good forced ventilation. The not brand new rooms take a back seat to the excellent cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Rarely have we found such clean environments. Opening the wardrobe door you are struck by the scent of detergent. The only flaw the minibar that did not cool at all. Also excellent air conditioning. Comfortable beds, even with the topper also because the double bed consisted of two beds. The right dinner, with quality products. The food is good, not much choice but all cooked well. Breakfast is also normal, with small croissants and always with the same tart and donut. The restaurant room large and clean. Sad lighting, from the hospital canteen. With the daydreams package it's still fine. Considering also that it is a three star. Manager at the reception very very kind and professional as well as the waitresses. They also deserved the tip for kindness and efficiency. They kindly lent themselves to bring us a piece of tart with candles “50” for my wife’s birthday. Very very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

a very nice stay
I went to Castiglione del lago to participate in a cycling race, everything perfect from the cost to the restaurant all perfect friendly staff, free parking the food really good I asked for the encore of the first were good, very kind waitresses even in the morning at breakfast really very satisfied I will return 'in September 2025

Insufficient
My experience in this hotel unfortunately proved to be very disappointing in many ways. From the start, numerous issues compromised comfort and quality of experience. Lunch proved insufficient with poor food quality and service not up to the task leaving us at tables that literally wobbled, they further worsened the experience, making every meal uncomfortable. Having then asked to be able to move, which was not done because we were immediately served the dishes forgetting to move to another table. Even the breakfast, while overall discreet, did not offer anything particularly noteworthy. Most of the products were packaged, with the absence of fresh or quality products. Finally, the lack of a night porter after 10:30 pm was extremely frustrating. I called the reception at that time and a lady answered me who was not at the hotel. When I asked for a bottle of water, I was suggested to drink from the tap, leaving us all night without drinking, a decidedly unsatisfactory solution for a 3-star hotel that should guarantee essential services at any time. Not to mention the really uncomfortable bed with a mattress in addition to the mattress. The cleanliness of the room instead was really good. Overall, the stay did not live up to expectations at all and, due to the disruptions and shortcomings found, I can not recommend this hotel in any way.

Perfect weekend
Me, my partner, our almost 2 year old daughter and my parents, stayed here for the weekend. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The perfect location, in a few minutes by car or bike (which they make available for free) you get to the lake or in the old town. The staff is very helpful. With us it was super cute for all the needs of our little girl. Breakfast not too varied, but plentiful. Excellent value for money

Good location
Recommended for the location to reach many famous places in Umbria. The rooms are very small some renovated (mine) others not but with everything you need except mosquito nets that in an area like this are indispensable, cleanliness average, managers very polite and kind. Breakfast includes everything you need but poor quality of products .Good value for money
