非常好的住宿体验

Spa stay over New Year's Eve: Unfortunately disappointing
Our stay at the spa over New Year's Eve, including three nights, was a mixed experience overall, which fell short of our expectations. Here is a detailed report:
Unclear packages and restrictions
It was already unclear at the time of booking which areas are accessible with which packages. The scheme was particularly problematic for New Year's Eve: Although we wanted to spend the evening in the spa, we were told on site that we should only bathe until 5 pm and then participate in the evening program. Day guests, on the other hand, were able to stay in the spa until 2 a.m. – a huge contradiction.
After consultation with the manager we were offered a package exchange, but at the expense of the gala dinner (incl. drinks). In the retrospective we would have preferred to spend the evening at the thermal baths, as the dinner also did not meet our expectations. In addition, it was not clearly communicated that liquor drinks were only payable during dinner and separately thereafter.
Clear communication in advance would have been essential here.
As hotel guests we had access to a separate spa area, which was mostly full. Also, the infusions took place only twice a day, where there was often no or very little space, especially if you do not sit in 10 minutes before to reserve a place.
A larger infusion offer, a clear spatial plan with a clear representation of the access options per package would avoid such misunderstandings.
The culinary offer was unfortunately rather disappointing. The food was visually appealing draped, but unspectacular in taste. It was particularly annoying that the half-board did not include drinks – not even tap water, which was charged at an extra 2.50 euros. This seems petty and inappropriate for an already high room rate.
Breakfast was also disappointing: All hot food – from egg dishes to fried eggs to potato buffers – was cold, and the quality left something to be desired.
The room was rather small and uncomfortably warm. The ventilation has caused a constant whirring. In addition, the routes to the various spa areas were long and cumbersome. On the positive side, however, these areas are very nicely designed.
A real highlight was the general sauna area. This was not only attractively designed, but also offered a special experience thanks to the great sauna masters. Each infusion was spectacular and executed with passion.
Conclusion
Our stay was ultimately disappointing, especially given the high price. The lack of transparency in the packages and the mediocre food cloud the overall impression. The spa itself has beautiful areas, but the organization and value for money leave a bitter aftertaste.
